Well my website is up! There isn't anything on it but its up regardless :) I'm very excited. I've been trying to take pictures of my already made items but they're not turning out as well as I would like. I'll keep trying though so my site will be able to fulfill its purpose. I'm also working on more designs so that's something else I have to look forward to!

Whats in a name?
When thinking of a name I of course wanted something catchy and different. So I got my brain working trying to come up with just that. Nothing. I did come up with "possible" names but nothing that I was excited about because they all seemed very boring to me.
I knew I wanted to use "Sass". Sass was a nickname given to me by a friend of mine based on his first impression of me. So apparently I was sassy when we first met back in '04. In my deference though I'm a shy person and shyness can come off as being rude and stuck up. Anyways I always liked that nickname because even though it is a form of "Sassy", "Sass" isn't as common. You go to the store and you see shirts that say "Sassy" on them but never "Sass" (unless of course they're personalized which I do have a few of). So that to me would be an aspect I could include in my name. It's different and personal.
Next, I always thought of myself as being different. At first glace I look just like everyone else, but getting to know me is when you see the true uniqueness. I was never someone who tried to be something I'm not. I didn't wear clothes because it was the style, I didn't follow trends, I was my own person who thought for myself. I was always just a little different than the average person/girl, but not in a weird way. So that's where the word Uniquely came into the picture.
Uniquely Sass. It just felt right and I was excited about it.

Intro
Back in high school I started to make and sell jewelry for fun. Just something I did in my spare time that I really enjoyed. I would hold jewelry parties, have custom orders, and even employees. Granted they were my cousins and they basically copied my already made designs but they did help me and I did pay them. Then over time I just stopped due to life getting in the way but always wanted to start it up again as an official business. But being me, I procrastinated and kept putting it off. Now that my fiance has started up his own business it has inspired me to get mine up and running again. So here I am taking that first step towards my goal. It'll be a slow process since I'm busy with other things (such as planning my Sept. 09 Wedding!) but it will happen and with more effort than before. I'm very excited about this new adventure and I can't wait to get things rolling.
In the very near future I hope to add pictures and get my actual website up. So please keep checking back if you're actually interested :)
